I follow a number of Scandinavian blogs and I'm pretty sure that it's mainly due in part to the fact that white plays a big role in their decor. Religious statues also take center stage and to that end I was inspired to put together this Christmas vignette.
If you have the time take a peek at the blogs from these lovely ladies that have so inspired me

ReplyDeleteDear Diana,
ReplyDeleteI follow them, too. I like this lightly and simple style, the decoration and the kind of living. So I started many years ago to make "White" to my philosophy of life.
Have a nice day

I try to leave the country at least a few times a week! My ancestors are Swedish and Norwegian so I have been trying to learn the language and love the decor style... all so peaceful yet a little primitive as well. I have found many of their blogs very inspiring. ~ Jacque
