New Life for a Crib Mattress Frame

I bought this frame at the White Home Collections last Spring (no pun intended)

I tucked a few fabric squares (from this post) into the springs and attached it to a free standing french door that's propped up in a corner of our living room

The wood sides are painted a very light shade of seafoam green and the patina on the springs is imperfectly perfect!

I'd love to say that the idea of using the fabric squares in this way was my brain child but I remembered it from something similar that I saw on Amy Chalmer's blog Maison Decor

It totally has the perfect rusty patina and looks so pretty with the light blue green, perfect color combination, and what a charming clever idea! Love it!
