White iron in the rough...
While shopping at Medway Mill Antiques I came across this white iron planter and thought it would look great on my dining room table with a bottle of wine in the middle surrounded by small potted plants. When I got it home I tried out my wine bottle idea but the wine bottle looked "lost" so instead I inserted a potted plant of ivy and liked that look much better. For the six surrounding holders I placed votive candles into small white washed terracotta napkin holders and there you have it.
To my delight, a few sprigs of the ivy were just long enough to wrap around the tall arch of the planter. Love the look.....reminds me of the types of planters I see on a few of the Swedish blogs that I follow..... Lilla Blanka being one of my favs.

Pretty in Pink...
I had been wanting a dress form for quite some time and frankly didn't expect to buy one so new but the minute I spied this one at the Wrentham Country Store I knew she was going home with me.
The night dress she's wearing was given to me by my husband many years ago. It's a size small so needless to say.....I've never worn it! :)
