I bought this sweet cherub mirror at the Brimfield Antique Fair last Spring and it sat in my basement waiting patiently for its turn for a paint job worthy of making it up the stairs... :)
And then the other day, I was catching up on blogs that I follow when Sissie (as I'm sure most of you already know) from Sissie's Shabby Cottage did a post on some doors that she refinished with Benjamin Moore's Chantilly Lace. Bingo!! And out the door I went for a quart!

What a transformation Diane! I've seen that color swatch at the hardware store and now I know how beautiful it can turn out. LOVE the candle and starfish additions. Perfect, and you definitely toned down the original look.
Thanks for sharing,
Susan

Hi Diane,
You are so funny! Thanks for the mention and I'm glad that you like Chantilly Lace. I had to get some more today and the lady at the paint counter told me that it has become very popular.

Wow, so much prettier in white! I want to hop the fence into the white/gray neighborhood... at least that is a goal for now. It may take awhile to convert my hubby to white. Come for a visit. Make it a great week.

Thanks for the 'tip' on the white paint. It's amazing how many shades of white there are, so when you find one you love is a good thing.
Have a nice week. I'm trying to finish the projects I've started.
Blessings,
Susie
