Is that even just one freshly cut bunch fills my entire home with such a wonderfully robust fragance that lasts for days and days.....
Not to mention the color...deep, dark lilac against the vibrant greenery really pops against my mainly white backdrop.

Hi Di, It is so funny that you sent this blog. i was just talking about liliacs with a neighbor just last night saying how much we love them and wish we could grow them in Florida.I forwarded it to her i hope she enjoys.

Looking at your beautiful pics I could almost smell the lovely fragrance.My lilacs bloomed about two weeks ago I so enjoyed them.They just don't stay around long enough I would love to have them all summer too.Thanks for sharing.
I think I need to plant some lilac bushes! Hmmm, maybe I will ask the neighbors if they will share some!
